Organization:
SCPSutter Center for PsychiatryPosition Overview:
Supervises and oversees daytoday activities related to care of patients with mental health needs ensuring consistent delivery of highvalue quality care. Coordinates the assessment treatment planning and managing the disposition of patients including appropriate transfers depending on individual patients needs. Establishes work priorities and assists staff in resolving operational issues/problems. Enforces adherence to department affiliate operating unit and/or system standards policies and procedures TJC standards and applicable laws and regulations. Collaborates with others to coordinate services streamline and standardize work flows and procedures and/or drive positive outcomes. Develops relationships with mental health facilities/organizations within and outside the community to provide appropriate disposition of patients.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
- Masters: social work counseling or related field.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- LCSWLicensed Clinical Social Worker
- OR LMFTLicensed Marriage & Family Therapist
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and/or other healthcare settings and standards of patient care.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills along with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements including The Joint Commission (TJC) California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Title 22 specifications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures.
- Knowledge of State Federal and Profession Industry Standards pertaining to healthcare practice.
- Conceptual analytical and problem solving skills in a complex environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills presentation and collaboration skills.

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
