Job Description
On behalf of our client a reputable and fastgrowing Trust company in Geneva we are seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer (M/F).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer a diverse portfolio of clients including companies trusts and foundations with international orientations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with tax and legal advisors to restructure and implement fiduciary solutions.
- Prepare and review corporate documents such as resolutions contracts loan agreements and powers of attorney.
- Oversee accounting processes including financial statement preparation and review.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all client structures.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients lawyers accountants bankers and other third parties.
- Identify and promote new business opportunities to enhance company growth.
- Greet visitors warmly and ensure a professional frontoffice presence.
- Handle and direct incoming phone calls efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail deliveries and document handling.
- Schedule and organize meetings ensuring optimal time management.
- Maintain calendars and coordinate appointments.
- Provide firstclass administrative support to Trust Officers and senior management.
- Assist the Legal and Compliance Office with maintaining procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated with industry trends regulations and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management frameworks.
Requirements:
- Higher education or university degree in law accounting economics or a related field.
- TEP qualification required; UK common law legal and/or tax expertise is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the trust industry.
- Proficient in modern office software tools and capable of handling complex travel arrangements.
- Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with nativelevel proficiency in written French and English; Spanish is a plus.
- A collaborative proactive and professional approach with a commitment to best practices.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Swiss residency is required for this position.
