Job Description
Position description: The Department of Physics & Engineering Physics at The University of Tulsa (TU) invites applications to fill a fulltime visiting instructor/lecturer position 9month appointment nontenure track) beginning in August of 2025. We seek a creative and collaborative individual with experience teaching at the college/university level to teach a combination of lecture recitation and/or laboratory courses. The department offers baccalaureate degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics and a masters and Ph.D. in Physics. The Engineering Physics program at TU has been accredited by ABET since 1971. Required Qualifications
Required qualifications: An M.S. in physics engineering physics or closely related field. Experience teaching at the college/university level. Outstanding communication skills and a disposition for teaching and learning. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students faculty and staff.
