Job Description
Cook/Food Service Assistant
Our Client based in Benalla has an opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified person to work in our state of the art commercial kitchen with the support of our enthusiastic catering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food and drinks for individual residents.
- Manage quality food served is appropriate for the residents dietary requirements.
- Assist with the delivery of meals and the collection
- kitchen cleaning including washingequipment etc.
- Assist in other areas of food preparation as required.
- Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families.
About You:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookeryrequired
- Experience in aged care cooking
- A can do attitude
- Motivated with ability to use own initiative
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Availability 8am 2pm Mon Sun fortnightly roster
