TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1 year recent relevant experience
Proven experience troubleshooting and monitoring enterpriselevel networks including Data Center Campus WAN and Wireless environments
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge management systems
Handson experience in a multiplatform network infrastructure including technologies from Cisco Palo Alto Networks Aruba F5 and similar vendors
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and clearly convey technical information to various stakeholders
Proficient in performing network changes and managing change processes using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Experience engaging with and managing thirdparty vendors including initiating escalations and ensuring timely resolution of issues
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated knowledge of storage performance data replication storage area network (SAN) based backup load balancing storage virtualization methods and SAN zoning and provisioning.
Ability to analyze information problems situations practices or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients information services (IS) team members management and executive personnel/staff.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives managers and subject matter experts.
Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts and ideas.
Organize workflow to accomplish established objectives.
Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues from different departments to achieve a common goal or to gain better understanding of client needs.
Perform effectively in environments with frequent and fluctuating workload changes competing demands and frequent interruptions and/or distractions.

Department: Network specialty Network infrastructure which may include converged internet protocol (IP) networks wireless local area network (WLAN) wide area network (WAN)/metropolitan area network (MAN) local area network (LAN) virtual private network (VPN)/Firewall. Transmission control protocol (TCP)/IP and open systems interconnection (OSI) model. Routing protocol enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EiGRP) open shortest path first (OSPF) border gateway protocol (BGP). frame relay/asynchronous transfer mode (FR/ATM) pointtopoint protocol (PPP) highlevel data link control (HDLC) multilink pointtopoint protocol (MLPPP) and virtual local area network (VLAN). digital signal and transmission line (DS3/T3 DS1/T1 fast Ethernet (FAST E) gigabit Ethernet (Gig E) 10 gigabit Ethernet 10 Gig E).
Department: Systems specialty Wide range of server platforms which may include: server operating systems (e.g. Windows OS400 AIX Linux VMS) Citrix technologies for high availability (e.g. high availability cluster multiprocessing (HACMP) MS Clustering content switching) virtualization (e.g. logical partitioning VMWare) provisioning monitoring and inventory tool sets (e.g. Tivoli MS Systems Center Opsware BMC) directory services (such as MS active directory) and messaging / collaboration and TCP/IPbased services including domain name system (DNS) dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) file transfer protocol (FTP) secure shell (SSH) simple mail transfer protocol (SMTP) print services and other infrastructure components.

Pay Range is $44.28 to $66.42 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
