The Radiation Oncology Coding Specialist is responsible for ensuring all services rendered in the clinical setting are captured timely coded accurately and complies with the Official Coding Guidelines in ICD10CM and CPT coding conventions to assign for diagnoses and procedure codes for Fred Hutch outpatienthospital facility services. This position will collaborate with the denials prevention team to resolve codingrelated denials and work closely with the authorizations team to ensure proper authorizations are requested. This position will code and abstract from the electronic medical record to support the appropriate reimbursement clinician documentation improvement clinical effectiveness outcome studies and research to meet regulatory accreditation requirements for state and federal reporting and other external reporting purposes.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $30.65 to $43.64 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
