Our client ESTEVE () is an international pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona. MAIN ROLE

As an MSL specializing in Rare Diseases manage and disseminate scientific knowledge at a territorial level while identifying and addressing regional barriers and opportunities that impact ESTEVEs portfolio in this specialty area. Play a pivotal role in planning and implementing medical projects ensuring strategic alignment with the
needs and priorities in Rare Diseases.

Main responsibilities


Managing scientific knowledge at territorial level offering support to studies undertaking territorial requests and
participating in the internal Scientific Training Plan as well as other ongoing Medical Education programmes.


Developing and executing the Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) plan fostering a network of strategic relationships
with the relevant stakeholders (KOLs scientific societies patient associations etc. as well as developing the
optimal management process for its scientific events (talks symposiums training etc..


Interdepartmental field tasks coordination (medical marketing commercial etc. in order to maintain
communication and exchange relevant information on activities in the territory.


Designing and carrying out medical projects that bring additional value to society regarding medical education
research corporate medical strategy etc.


Active participation in the Medical Affairs Committee to ensure compliance with regulatory standards good
practices and the code of ethics.

JOB PROFILE


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. Other postgraduate or similar courses related to the role
would be an asset.


Professional experience:


Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry including at least 2 years in the rare disease sector
with a demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders and activities from an international perspective.


Previous experience in oncology and rare diseases is required.


International experience in other specialties is considered an advantage.

Ability to build team relationships and collaborate in a multifunctional team as well as with external stakeholders
to achieve medical goals.

Strong communication skills.


Collaborative mindset & attitude.


Ability to adapt in fastpaced environment.


Continuously striving for improvement and to increase knowledge.


Proven skill to interface and collaborate with external stakeholders.


Proven ability and proactive attributes to develop and nurture KOL and other thought leader relationships.


Strong organization and planning skills.


Other Requierements:


Position based in Spain preferably in Madrid as the primary location with Barcelona as an alternative option.


Languages:


Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages are considered a plus.
