You shall carry out the following functions as per the guidance of your superior on regular basis by ensuring that they are completed in time and without slipup with due accountability at your end. These functions are indicative in nature but not exhaustive which are subject to review from time to time.
KRA
Responsible for managing the direction and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation. This includes managing budgets organising schedules & routes ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
Supervising to ensure the effective achievements on the controls on fleet cost fleet utilization maintenance branch expenses customer grievances and credit period and credit limit
Review meeting with team on daily movements and operations.
Coordination with branches on daily operations
Discussion with accounts and finance team for the timely billing and vendor payment.
Control and save costs. Be up to date with cost increases on various factors and re negotiate with clients on hire rates so that profit margin will not be affected.
Attending routing pricing RFQs and tenders
Frequent interaction with clients to understand issues if any and understanding on future plans.
Not only identify and convert new business opportunities and explore and expand business with existing client but also provide support to the sales team to close new business through your input gained through research and experience by designing effective pricing that demonstrates our excellence in solutionbased business.
Periodic Vendor Assessment and introducing new vendors for reliability and costeffective business for Pan India.
Gather and communicate Market and Industry intelligence with Management for introducing latest market practices technology and strategy.
General
Assist the setup process of the company & operations (operational processes policies & procedures Standard Operating Procedures staff recruitment training selection of suppliers local regulatory requirements etc)
Develop & Execute the Business Plan/Budgets
Develop Sales & Marketing efforts (including new client prospecting develop suitable proposals for new customers) for the company to achieve revenue growth.
Develop the key anchor client relationship through value added initiatives innovative logistics solutions
Motivate Direct & Develop the team to achieve their goals & targets
Regularly visiting the branches to ensure the smooth functioning of operations cost control team building and Business development
Ensure appropriate safety procedures for transporting hazardous and nonhazardous material are followed
Ensure high level of customer service is emphasized at all levels
Carry out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures
Develop policies and procedures as needed
Review staff requirements and participate in recruiting activities training and scheduling of personnel
Provide staff performance reviews and resolve employee problems
Conduct analysis in order to determine customer and market needs and opportunities
Maintain frequent contact with management staff and employees
Participate in short and long term market strategy development and implementation
Ensure all administrative requirements are completed in a timely manner
Train and develop team frequently
Reporting Requirements:
Report on Debtors outstanding to superior at regular intervals as per the directions of the Superior.
Periodic Reports Monthly Quarterly and Half Yearly MIS Reports
Report on Daily Receipts to the management and keep the management posted on continuous defaulters having large bearing on fund management.
