Position Overview:
Come join the team at Zynga making an impact across all of the companys games Mobile Game Tech! In the Customer hub team together we will design and develop a customerfacing portal that offers a smooth experience. This portal will highlight various MGT products such as Payments Identities Directory Forge and Analytics. Were looking for outstanding engineers with a passion for technology and the ability to work with a team with varied strengths. The Software Engineer will play a key role as part of the Mobile Game Tech Organization focusing on advanced technology developments to build improve and maintain nextgen tech solutions for our games.
What Youll Do :
- Develop and maintain new and existing features and improvements to web and backend services used by mobile and web clients.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build a streamlined customer experience.
- Take a handson approach in writing and reviewing code.
- Proactively identify & recommend improvements to address systemic problems and tech debt.
- Follow engineering standard methodologies to ensure code quality performance scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates contributing to an innovative environment of technical excellence.
- Review detailed tech plans from others aligning with the team and Zyngawide technical vision.
- Provide production & integration support for shared technology across Zynga games.
What You Bring :
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
- 2 years of handson software development experience.
- A proven foundation in software programming with strong proficiencies in data structures and algorithms is required.
- Experience programming with web development using ReactJS TypeScript and Reactbased frameworks.
- Experience in HTML CSS and frameworks such as CSSinJS or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience programming RESTful services using Java/Golang/Python etc.
- Experience in objectoriented design of applications/systems.
- Experience with DevOps cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes in AWS is a plus.
- Experience with database systems (SQL NoSQL) is a plus.
- Good understanding of algorithms design patterns debugging and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent ability to work efficiently with teammates and independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills particularly the ability to discuss timelines design concerns work with distributed teams and provide effective feedback to team members.
