As the Director of Product Data Platform you will drive the strategy development and scaling of Remitlys data infrastructure ensuring it serves as a foundation for intelligent decisionmaking compliance and customercentric innovations. This is a highimpact leadership role that will shape the future of Remitlys data ecosystem. You will report to the VP of Product Data and Platforms and collaborate with various engineering teams to achieve your roadmap and goals. This position is hybrid and based in our headquarters in Seattle WA.

You Will:

• Develop and drive the data platform vision that aligns with Remitlys mission and business objectives.
• Own the endtoend product lifecycle for data infrastructure architecture (centralized data catalog along with the processes of adding or modifying schemas) analytics and machine learningdriven decisioning systems.
• Prioritize plan and oversee the of the data platform roadmap balancing longterm strategic investments with shortterm tactical needs.
• Collaborate with engineering to build nextgeneration data platform scalable secure and highavailability data platforms ensuring lowlatency highreliability data pipelines.
• Enable the development of AI/ML models analytics tools and datadriven insights that improve customer experiences and optimize business processes.
• Partner with analytics teams to democratize access to Remitlys data via a selfserve approach while providing clear governance and access control
• Work closely with engineering compliance finance and risk teams to deliver datadriven solutions at scale.
• Evangelize a datafirst culture influencing decisionmaking across product and business teams.
• Effectively communicate the impact and value of data initiatives to executive leadership partners and crossfunctional teams.
• Lead mentor and scale a highperforming platform team focused on data products and infrastructure.

You Have:

• 10 years of product management experience with 5 years in datarelated roles (e.g. data platforms AI/ML analytics fintech).
• Strong background in big data technologies (e.g. Snowflake Databricks Kafka Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure).
• Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of data platforms cloud infrastructure data governance and AI/ML applications
• Proven track record of building and scaling data platforms with measurable business impact.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Fintech or payments industry experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in a technical field (Computer Science Data Science Engineering etc.; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $200000 $250000. In the U.S. Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
