About this Role
You will act as a Senior Technical Writer responsible for the preparation review revision and maintenance of operational doctrine documents including management directives guidance documents implementation plans and standard operating procedures. This is an exciting highvisibility opportunity where you will be working at the officelevel of Mission Management requiring frequent interaction with senior leaders throughout the organization.Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation using tools such as Microsoft Word PowerPoint Adobe Acrobat etc.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure document content is accurate.
- Organize document content for readability with a focus on the intended audience.
- Write/edit content then publish and distribute final product.
- Maintain documentation library using existing configuration management processes.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to gather technical information and requirements.
- Strong experience with Atlassian Confluence.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience with programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.
- Customerservice mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 8 years of experience with a Bachelors degree (or related field) OR 12 years of experience without a degree.

- Prior experience with government or NSA/CSS policies.
- Understanding of section 508/ADA documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira.
