Job Description

Location: Newark Ohio
Reports to: Production Manager
Shifts: Second Shift: Monday Friday 3:30 pm 11:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY
This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing process
- Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
- Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
- Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
- Use of pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
- Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace
- Maintain a clean work area including but not limited to:
- Empty Trash
- Sweep degreasing area
- Mop floor as needed
- Other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mathematical skills including addition subtraction division multiplication and percentages.
- Able to differentiate between different part numbers as well as ability to read and write in English for required written records.
- Use a handheld calculator.
- Work independently with little supervision.
- Wear safety equipment including safety glasses steeltoed shoes arm guards and gloves
