Job Description
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (XRay Tech) Full Time
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist where youll play a vital role in patient care by performing highquality diagnostic imaging procedures. Were seeking a detailoriented professional who combines technical expertise with exceptional patient care skills to support our growing medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities including DR CR and PACS systems
- Conduct patient assessments and prepare patients for radiological procedures
- Administer IV contrast media and perform related procedures following safety protocols
- Ensure radiation safety practices and ALARA principles are maintained
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in PACS/RIS systems
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
- Participate in training and mentoring of new staff and students
- Maintain equipment quality control and perform basic troubleshooting
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration or registryeligible status
- Valid state radiologic technologist license
- Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Strong understanding of radiation protection principles
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and oncall rotation
