Description:

Armor Express is seeking a highly engaged and committed fulltime Warehouse Associate. Forklift license not required but would be an asset. Must be able to work within a team setting. As a warehouse associate your daily tasks includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials loading and unloading trucks and containers and organize stage and prepare finished product for shipping.

This role consists of the following duties:

• Load and unload product for truck flatbed or container
• Assists in the receiving of all incoming goods following related SOPs including labeling notating of location and handing in required documentation in a timely manner
• Assists in the staging of required componentry per the production schedule
• Working closely with other departments to ensure adherence to established quality standards & procedures
• Move product within warehouse by using forklift
• Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing product for damages
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met
• Delivering/Loading material for spread table and other departments
• Label all materials with the appropriate Product Identification Label
• Store material as to preserve and prevent damage and store material per special storage conditions as required
• Fill out all material requisitions and production order pick lists
• Assist with inventory and conduct cycle counts as require

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Warehouse environment experience preferred
• Good computer skills ERP experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to work overtime

Physical Demands:

• Standing on hard surface moving between production and warehouse
• Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds
• Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities
• Good visualization ability to see details at close range
• Able to perform basic mathematic calculations
• Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities

Work Environment:

This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing setting. Activities are primarily done while standing.
