Job Description

Superior Forge & Steel Corporationis currently hiring anElectricianfor our operation. The Electrician is a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing electrical and electronic maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment.
Shift 2nd or 3rd

COMPETITIVEwages$26.50 & 34.50/hr. (based on experience) benefit/insurance package 8 paid holidays 401K PTO and Paid Relief Days$1000 SIGN ON BONUS this position is eligible for production and other incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining AC and DC industrial electrical equipment and control systems
  • Installing and maintaining facility electrical lighting and power distribution
  • Reading/interpreting blueprints drawings and sketches
  • Mentoring less experienced/knowledgeablecoworkers
  • Following companyguidelines and directives
  • Performing various assigned department duties
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
  • Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
  • Manufacturing environment with heat noise dust and vibration
  • This position has consistent daily physical demands
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical degree or electrical apprenticeship is a plus
  • Basic math skills required
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Industrial electrical and control experience required
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen

Classification:
Hourly

Benefits:
