We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) / SQL Server DBA with expertise in Oracle and SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate should have experience in database design implementation and maintenance while ensuring optimal performance security and compliance. The role requires working in a fastpaced 24x7 production support Responsibilities:Database Administration:Manage and support Oracle and SQL Server databases in a production database installation configuration and database performance and optimize queries for efficient database availability security and disaster recovery Management:Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance with development teams to optimize queries and indexing databaserelated incidents and service requests via ServiceNow / & Recovery:Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for data data integrity and disaster recovery database restoration and disaster recovery & Compliance:Implement database security best practices including access control and compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR HIPAA PCIDSS periodic security audits and vulnerability & Maintenance:Utilize monitoring tools like OEM Azure Monitor or SolarWinds for proactive issue routine database maintenance tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell Bash).Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for database :Work closely with application teams to troubleshoot and optimize database development teams with schema design and database in system architecture discussions and provide database Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise:Strong expertise in Oracle and SQL Server in SQL and PL/SQL for performance tuning and query with backup and recovery strategies and high availability with cloud database solutions like Oracle Cloud Azure of database replication clustering and failover & Technology:Handson experience with monitoring tools like OEM Azure Monitor with incident management tools such as ServiceNow to automation using PowerShell Bash or Python.
