Job Description

Summary

The Manager GA Personal Lines is responsible for building leading and overseeing the sales and service operations for personal lines insurance products within JM Insurance Agency Partners. This includes growing the personal lines function by establishing scalable processes defining team structure and implementing best practices. A key part of the role is building and leading a crossfunctional team that collaborates across sales service operations and support to deliver seamless customer experiences. The role also involves managing a team of sales and service agents & support staff setting sales targets developing sales strategies and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position plays a pivotal role in achieving business goals maintaining client relationships and promoting our insurance services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise train and coach a team of personal lines insurance sales and service agents.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends competitor offerings and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
  • Monitor sales metrics track progress and report to agency leader

Customer Service:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve complex customer problems and escalated service issues.
  • Implement and maintain customer service standards and procedures.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay uptodate with industry trends insurance products and regulatory changes.
  • Train sales and service agents on product knowledge and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and sales collateral.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all insurance industry regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on sales and service processes to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Address compliance violations and take corrective action when necessary.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance customer feedback and team productivity.
  • Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies accordingly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and highvalue accounts.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and personalized service

Leadership Responsibilities

Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business Finance or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in personal lines insurance sales including a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in insurance industry software and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements

Certificates Licenses Registrations

Property/Casualty Insurance agent license is required.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
