Job Description
Surgical Technologist II Vascular Operating Room Specialist
Join our prestigious healthcare facility as a Surgical Technologist II specializing in vascular procedures. Were seeking a detailoriented professional to become an integral member of our surgical team ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence in our stateoftheart operating rooms.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during vascular surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeons needs and assist with surgical instrumentation
- Monitor and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist in room turnover and sterilization procedures
- Participate in surgical counts and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Eligibility for registration with VA Department of Health Professions
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile technique
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous vascular surgery experience
- Military medical experience accepted and valued
- Knowledge of vascular surgical instrumentation
