Padres Baseball & Softball Camps Director
Padres Baseball Camps is now hiringa Site Director for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County.
Padres Summer Camps is looking for a Site Director in San Diego County who is energetic positive and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions all while having a great time! We provide the equipment training and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game new friends better baseball/softball skills and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps from Coach to Site Director and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.

We are looking a Site Director who:
- Is an experienced leader selfstarter and excellent communicator
- Is passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children families coaches and the local community
- Has experience working with children ages 413
- Has experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
- Has a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
- Is able to connect with children both oneonone and in a group setting
- Is acutely aware of both physical and emotional safety coupled with the ability to problemsolve in real time
- Leads by example with strong character integrity and a positive attitude
- Is dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there no matter what.
- Thrives on providing candid feedback to his or her team members helping them grow both personally and professionally
- Knows how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities of a Site Director:
- Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
- Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
- Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily under the direction of the Site Director
- Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
- Highlight teachable moments for campers and coaches to learn and grow from
- Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Padres Baseball Camps stellar reputation
Qualifications for the Site Director position:
- Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment MondayFriday for approximately eight hours per day
- Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 9 2025 to August 15 2025
- Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
- Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability
- At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van & having a safe space to park it (Padres Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van associated with work/camp use only.
- At a minimum you must be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball
- Has at least one year of experience managing a group of people
- Be ready to have fun and not take yourself too seriously

Our Interview Process:

- Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director
- Final decision!
Compensation:
Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1320 to $1500 per week.
