QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. At least 18 years of age.
3. Ability to use personal computer and software for field trip scheduling develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing.
4. Ability to read and understand documents including policies and procedures manuals.
5. Ability to receive and give written and verbal instructions.
6. Effective organizational and communication skills.
7. One 1 year experience in public school transportation preferred.
8. Preference will be given to CFISD Employees.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$36423 CP5
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Import and process all field trip transportation requests using field trip planning software.
2. Communicate with sponsors and administrators to confirm field trip requests and arrangements.
3. Communicate information regarding emergency trips caravan and dispatch assigned trips to the appropriate parties.
4. Process all white fleet requests for district cars and vans.
5. Establish and maintain a good rapport and working relationships with transportation staff and campus personnel.
6. Serve as a substitute bus attendant as necessary.
7. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
