Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine leader ready to take the next step in your career A dynamic hospital located just south of Atlanta GA is seeking a BoardCertified Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as the Emergency Department Medical Director. This is a highimpact fulltime 1099 opportunity offering exceptional pay a substantial director stipend and leadership autonomyall in a vibrant wellsupported clinical environment.
Position Highlights
$250$270/hour (based on shift; includes paid admin time)1099
$108000 annual Medical Director stipend
Potential productivity bonus (TBD)
45000 annual ED visits
Full APP and specialty backup
Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided
Flexible rotating shift schedule with protected administrative time

Key Responsibilities
As Emergency Medicine Medical Director you will:
Lead all clinical and administrative operations within the Emergency Department
Oversee staffing quality initiatives and departmental performance metrics
Foster a collaborative culture focused on patient safety and clinical excellence
Balance clinical duties with administrative oversight to drive outcomes
Partner with hospital leadership to align ED goals with broader institutional objectives
Qualifications
Required:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
Active Georgia medical license or eligibility
Current certifications in ATLS ACLS BLS and PALS
Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
Preferred:
Prior leadership experience in an Emergency Medicine environment
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
