Position Summary
The Office of the University Registrar is looking to hire a temporary Compliance and Special Projects Specialist to provide administrative and analytical support to the office. This position will work closely with the Senior Assistant Registrar and other members of the Registrars Office to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Office. Responsibilities Include: * Conduct data analysis and prepare reports related to enrollment registration and academic records. * Assist with the development and implementation of special enrollment programs such as Robertsons program BMEU and other programs. * Coordinate interinstitutional registration programs with other universities and colleges. * Serve as a liaison between the Office of the University Registrar and other offices on campus as well as external organizations and stakeholders. * Provide support for special projects and events as needed. * Collaborate with the Senior Assistant Registrar and other members of the Registrars Office to ensure compliance with university policies and regulations. * Assist with the maintenance and organization of student records and academic files.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
* Experience in a similar role preferably in a higher education setting. * Proficient in data analysis and reporting using software such as Excel Tableau or similar tools. * Knowledge of enrollment and registration processes in higher education preferred. * Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. * Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience working with the public in a university setting is preferred. Knowledge of enrollment and registration processes in higher education and experience updating student records in a Student Information System such as PeopleSoft preferred.
