Job Description

About the role: 

As a valued member of our Allied Health team you will provide highquality evidencebased care to our elderly customers focusing on enhancing their independence health and overall quality of life. In this role youll spend most of your time visiting customers in their own homes across Adelaide and the surrounding suburbs applying your expertise to make a real difference in their daytoday lives.

You will provide a range of services including but not limited to:

  • Equipment prescription
  • Home modifications
  • Falls prevention education
  • Manual handling training
  • ADL assessment/retraining
  • Cognitive assessment

This is a permanent parttime position offering 3 days per week with room to increase your hours as you build a clientbase. When not conducting home visits youll have the flexibility to work from home or visit our Wayville office.

About you:

You are a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist with a genuine interest in working with the elderly. You excel in a community care environment using your skills to promote wellbeing independence and comfort in the homes of our customers. Youre highly organised able to manage your time across various tasks and locations and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

To be successful in this role youll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A Drivers Licence and registered vehicle 
  • Car insurance (minimum Third Party Property; Comprehensive preferred)
  • First Aid and CPR certificate (or be willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships including working within a multidisciplinary team
