Job Description
Join a wellrespected healthcare provider in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York where quality patient care meets professional growth. We’re seeking compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapists (RRT) who are licensed or eligible in New York and ready to provide toptier care in a fastpaced hospital environment. Ideal candidates will have recent clinical experience strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence in respiratory care.
What you will be doing:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.

Administer treatments operate mechanical ventilators and perform blood gas analysis.

Assess patient needs implement care plans and provide education for discharge.

Assist in bronchoscopy procedures conduct pulmonary function tests and obtain EKGs and lab specimens.

Maintain transport and clean respiratory equipment ensuring safety and readiness.
-
Actively participate in emergency response quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration.

Serve as a mentor to students and new staff and assume charge therapist responsibilities when needed.
Experience you will need:

Licensed Respiratory Therapist in New York State or eligible.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC or eligible within 12 months.

BLS certification required within 90 days of hire; ACLS required within 1 year.

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience preferred but new grads considered.

Strong technical skills in respiratory therapy mechanical ventilation and diagnostic testing.

Excellent communication documentation and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work evening or night shifts (three 12hour shifts per week).
