The Product Manager for Digital Marketplace 2.0 will lead the development and improvement of this updated procurement platform to better serve government and industry users. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a product strategy that aligns with the Digital Sourcing Branchs strategic vision ensuring the product meets user satisfaction and delivers customer value and overseeing the organizations product and services portfolio. The Product Manager will prioritize product requirements design enhancements based on market and user research and manage the product life cycle to meet customer needs. Additionally the role involves creating a product life cycle management framework championing product management principles and initiating the creation of new products and services to identify new opportunities. The Digital Marketplace 2.0 aims to simplify clarify and expedite the selling of reusable platforms to the government. About the team
This role is part of the Sourcing Platforms team within the Digital Sourcing Branch. The Product Manager works closely with the Scrum Master and stakeholders to develop and enhance products that meet user needs. They prioritise delivery based on user requirements and ensure the BuyICT platform delivers value through a multidisciplinary agile team. The role also involves collaborating with business SMEs service designers and delivery managers to uphold best practices and maintain highquality standards.
Essential Criteria
1. Build productive strategic relationships with key stakeholders from public and private sector such as senior executives solution architects government buyers and/or legal experts to deliver a digital product or service
2. Create a strategic vision for a digital product or service and convert this vision into daytoday objectives for an Agile multidisciplinary team
3. Focus development of a digital product or service on user need and chorale competing interests to meet policy objectives
4. Ability to deliver at pace taking an appropriate attitude to risk
Desirable Criteria
1. Knowledge of procurement contracting processes or platforms in a government context is desirable
2. Knowledge of building on a ServiceNow platform is desirable
