Gotyu Underwear the fastest growing underwear brand in Europe is looking for an APlayer financial controller who is going to help them reach their next milestone.

Thanks to our unique marketing strategies and disruptive products we doubled our revenue each year with no external funding.

We are looking for a detailedoriented experienced and proactive Financial Controller & Bookkeeper to help us achieve our revenue and profit goals to profitably scale from 8figures to 9figures.

Tasks

What you will be working on:

• Develop detailed financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
• Calculate product margins and optimize profit
• Assisting in tracking inventory costs and ensuring that inventory records are accurate.
• Analyze financial data including return rates to recommend optimal sales prices.
• Manage and maintain accurate P&L statements balance sheets and financial ratios.
• Create scenarios based on strategic decisions.
• Prepare tax returns manage sales tax filings and ensuring compliance with local state and federal tax regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve a companywide profit target of 20.
• Provide insights and strategies to improve overall financial performance.
• Ensure accurate cash flow management and maintain a clear understanding of how cash flows within the business.
• Work with Finaloop software to maintain uptodate and accurate financial records.
• Provide insights based on knowledge of U.S. financial regulations especially those relevant to ecommerce businesses.
• Offer strategic insights into the financial performance of brands in the U.S. leveraging experience in managing businesses with a large number of SKUs.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Masters Degree or equivalent in Financial Controlling Accounting or related field with 2 years of experience (please provide certificates)
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller Bookkeeper or similar role in the ecommerce sector
• Demonstrated success working for an ecommerce brand managing over 800 SKUs
• Experience in fashion ecommerce is a significant plus
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial forecasting profit optimization and cash flow management
• Familiarity with Finaloop or similar financial software
• Indepth knowledge of U.S. financial regulations and best practices for ecommerce businesses especially with extensive product catalogs
• Expertlevel proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of inventory management and its financial implications
• Knowledge of international tax regulations and transfer pricing
• Ability to develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies
• Experience in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP
• Strong communication skills to present complex financial data to nonfinancial stakeholders
• Proactive problemsolving approach and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
• Certification such as CPA CMA or CIMA is highly desirable
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
