Job Description
Electrical Systems Engineer
Aversan Inc. is a trusted multiservice engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leadingedge and reliable safetycritical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team.
Location: Montreal QC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Electrical Ground Support Equipment for advanced telecommunication satellites at both bus and spacecraft integration stages.
- Review test plans and test system requirements assess feasibility and propose efficient implementation
- Equipment selection and technical oversight of key suppliers
- Integration of electrical equipment from multiple suppliers into a coherent test set for platform and spacecraft level tests.
- Electrical System implementation commissioning and maintenance
- Design of Test harnesses system protections and overall interconnects
- Production of relevant documentation
- Operationalize equipment for high volume production
- Participate in crossfunctional teams
- May need to supervise testing activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong Handson experience in test station design and implementation for electronics in one of the following fields: digital analog power or RF electronics.
- Experience in debugging and testing electronic systems
- Extensive experience with lab testing equipment network analyzers calibration antennas etc.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as CANbus SpaceWire SPI serial link CCSDS
