Job Description

  • Develop meaningful donor relationships for scholarships and prizes that transform students lives.
  • Incremental progression based on 12 months continuous service.
  • Fulltime appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $80243 $88940 p.a. (prorata) plus 17 superannuation.

About the area

Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) oversees the Universitys alumni philanthropic and community strategies. The function works collaboratively across the University to embed philanthropic and engagement activity into the Universitys operations. The core responsibility of the team is to lead and build on the Universitys alumni donor and community relations to advance the Universitys goals.

About the opportunity

  • Support the cultivation and stewardship of philanthropic relationships with donors to advance the student experience and research efforts.
  • Assist in managing a portfolio of donors and prospective donors ensuring effective engagement and retention strategies are implemented.
  • Contribute to planning executing and evaluating fundraising activities that align with the Universitys priorities and promote a culture of philanthropy.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant experience in project coordination or administration within a complex organisation preferably within a Development and Alumni Relations context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce reports and correspondence for diverse audiences.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
