Job Description
Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydneys North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Performing Arts Technician to join our team on a casual basis providing technical support for various events and productions throughout the year.
The Ravenswood Performing Arts Department takes pride in delivering highquality professional event experiences. The ideal candidate is a team player who demonstrates initiative strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach. They will be detailoriented and able to ensure smooth event operations across a variety of contexts within the school.
This role involves assisting with the setup operation and maintenance of sound lighting staging and vision equipment.
To secure this role the successful applicant should have experience with:
- Setting up various sound lighting and AV equipment and systems
- Operating sound desks (Yamaha Allen & Heath desirable)
- Operating lighting consoles (LSC Clarity and Chamsys desirable)
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring best practices are followed
Ravenswood is looking for someone to join the team on a casual basis initially with the potential for future growth in the role.
