Job Description
Staff Management Group is seeking a Stockroom Associate for our client in Wayne NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 3PM 1AM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $17.13 / hour
Job Summary:
The Stockroom Associate is responsible for organizing counting and maintaining inventory in a warehouse or stockroom setting. This role supports inventory accuracy and stock availability by performing routine stock checks and maintaining detailed records.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive organize and store inventory in designated stockroom areas.
- Count and verify stock quantities to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Label and track items using basic documentation methods.
- Perform routine inventory checks and assist with stock reconciliations.
- Follow company procedures for handling storing and replenishing inventory.
- Support team operations by keeping the stockroom clean and orderly.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous inventory or stockroom experience preferred.
- Must be able to read write and count using basic English skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
