Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team in Recovery on a part time basis 60 hours per fortnight.
This role will see you working on our rotational roster Monday Friday with flexible shift times available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their hospital stay.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a stateoftheart 340bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Orderly your responsibilities will include:
Patient Assistance and transfers throughout the hospital
General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds organising linen restocking of equipment and waste management.
Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
Deliver excellent customer service to staff clients and patients
Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
Cert 3 in Health Services or interest in obtaining
Experience as an orderly in a hospital environment preferred
Commitment to service excellence
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment High level attention to detail
Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
Working with Children check
