The job of the site Technology Liaison is to manage site technology inventory provide sitebased basic troubleshooting for students staff and classroom devices and accounts; and provide training and documentation support to build knowledge and capacity of school site staff.
This job reports to the IT Manager.
Essential functions include: assesses malfunctions to computer hardware and software at assigned school site(s)
- Performs basic troubleshooting for all end user devices at assigned school site(s) to streamline the process for efficiency and increasing uninterrupted instructional time and escalate to IT helpdesk and/or technicians when necessary
- Provides student helpdesk support including but not limited to assisting teachers and students with student account managementSSO system access password resets badge printing and assessing damaged hardware
- Provides followup to IT work orders to ensure resolution of reported issues; conducts regular operational and safety checks of site technology and reports immediate operational and/or safety issues to the appropriate department for resolution
- Manages site technology inventory using IT asset management system including check in and out of devices to end users and assists with annual inventory and surplus processes
- Provides backup service for District Helpdesk when additional assistance is needed collaborates with District Helpdesk IT User Support Technicians IT Manager and Network Administrator to ensure high levels of customer service
- Collaborates with the Digital Learning Coordinator and the Director of Digital Learning & Strategy in order to train and assist teachers and staff to help build knowledge and capacity in using and troubleshooting devices
- Attends meetings and professional development classes and seminars as needed.
Job related experience is desired.
Requirements include: High School diploma or equivalent Preemployment Proficiency test and Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
This is a 12month position.
