You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Washingtons (UW) Department of Medicine Division of Nephrology is seeking applicants for a fulltime 1.0 FTE) position would be at the rank of Research Assistant Professor (nontenure eligible). Research Assistant professors are eligible for multiyear appointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The anticipated start date would be April 1 2025.
University of Washington faculty engage in research teaching and service.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program in kidney health and disease.
The successful candidate will also be expected to work collaboratively.
Positive factors for consideration include but are not limited to candidates who demonstrate the potential to become an independently funded investigator in the field of kidney disease based on career development awards and/or other grants received/submitted and candidates who have emerging national/international recognition for research and scholarship.
The base salary range for this position will be: $8000 $11000 per month $96000$132000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
Applicants for this position must hold a PhD degree in a relevant field (or foreign equivalent).
