Were recruitingfor aIncome Recovery Officerto join our team on a 10 month fixed term contract. Based out of our Basingstoke office this is a full time role working 37 hours a week with a minimum of 20 of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working.

Heres the facts about the role:
As an income recovery officer youllprovide a proactive and effective approach to recovering outstanding rent and other charges. Youll work to agreed procedures to have full control over a caseload of accounts and progress them through the rent arrears process. Thisll include recording contactsagreementsand referrals and ensuring that customers are provided with the right support that they need.
Youll gain a good understanding of who our customers are and the support that they may need to sustain their tenancies so that eviction is always the last resort. Youll develop a good knowledge of benefits and understand how theyre paid and managed. And make sure the business and customer impacts are understood as part of the arrears process.
Youll have a good working relationship with various teams such as neighbourhoods and tenancy support. As well as developing connections with external partners and agencies who help us to provide the right level of support to our customers. This includes housing options and homelessness teams to meet the needs of our customers.
Youll bring your wealth of experience in debt recovery and awareness/understanding of the social housing effective communication and relationship building skills which will help you to succeed in this role.
