We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our R&D team focusing on software development for advanced navigation in orthopaedic surgery. In this role youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a cuttingedge solution for computerassisted surgery that can have a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Our offer to you:
You will perform problem solving identify potential solutions and evaluate them.
You will implement software components in C/Qt on a Linux platform.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team of software engineers and domain experts.
Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms using appropriate metrics.
Document research findings algorithms and results in reports.
That makes you stand out:
You are currently enrolled in a masters programme in computer science biomedical engineering or a related field.
You have experience in objectoriented programming (C/Java etc. and a strong interest in developing highperformance software.
You have a background in computer vision image processing and/or machine learning.
Familiarity with medical imaging (CT MRI) and segmentation techniques is a plus.
You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
You have good communication and documentation skills in English.
Start Date: September or October 2025
