Job Description

Human Resources & Payroll Assistant

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career in Human Resources and Payroll within a collaborative and supportive team Our client a wellestablished company with a national presence is seeking a Human Resources & Payroll Assistant to join their Amherst NY office. This is a temptoperm inoffice position offers $20$22 per hour with longterm growth potential excellent benefits and handson experience in HR and payroll operations.

This role is perfect for someone with 1 years of experience in HR payroll or office administration who is eager to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities. The team is willing to train the right candidate making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in HR payroll benefits administration and office management.

This is an onsite position based in Amherst New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in payroll processing using ADP ensuring accuracy and compliance and serve as a backup for the payroll function.
  • Support benefits administration recruitment and employee relations with opportunities to learn and expand your HR skill set.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees across the U.S. assisting with HR and payroll inquiries.
  • Help with scanning mailing projects ordering supplies and jumping in where needed to support the team.
  • Utilize Excel to create reports track HR and payroll data and maintain accurate records.
  • Work with HRIS providers benefits administrators and other vendors to support HR operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
  • 1 years in an HR and payroll support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Ability to support multiple levels of management and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and work effectively under deadlines

Work Environment & Compensation:

  • Location: Fully inoffice position in Amherst NY
  • Hourly Pay: $20 $22 per hour based on experience
