Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who will join a global technology team responsible for building and delivering solutions for mastering and distributing Client and Account reference data.
Your role:
Deliver technical changes to the Integrated Client Lifecycle Services (ICLS) suite of applications guaranteeing accurate ontime and adherence to quality standards
Participate in the project lifecycle from requirements specification to implementation ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose from a functional technical and quality perspective
Ensure awareness of and adherence to industry trends and firmwide strategies and initiatives
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
Extensive experience working in an Agile delivery model on backend or fullstack development
Indepth knowledge and understanding of Java 8
Extensive experience of the Spring framework (Core Boot Integration Batch Cloud and Security) Test Drvien Development (JUnit Mockito) and Behaviour Driven Development (Cucumber) practices
Handson experience applying design patterns and microservices/eventdriven architectures to build scalable applications
Experience with continuous delivery and deployment pipelines in GitLab and build tools such as Maven and Gradle
Nice to have:
Experience with Azure
Experience with modern web development technologies such as TypeScript LESS and SASS
An understanding of technologies used to implement workflow (Flowable) and business rules (Drools)
