Job Description

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for a vibrant team of 23 individuals to serve in our Masterworks Arts Studio ministry as Program Coordinators. Located at 333 King St the Masterworks Arts Studio serves to see every young person living fully in Christ by establishing a strong community for youth to experience learn and grow through the creative arts while discipling them towards a relationship with Christ and into a local body of believers.

A successful candidate for this position will recognize first and foremost that they will play a significant and vital role in the success of YFC Winnipeg; what you will do here will have an important impact on the young people who engage with the ministries at YFC. If you are passionate about helping others and want to use your experience skills and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth then this may be the position for you.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead creative workshops classes and dropin opportunities for youth (eg. dance art crafts music etc).
  • Seek to engage and equip youth to know and follow Jesus through intentional mentorship and discipleship.
  • Plan and implement summer day camp(s) and/or outreach events

Requirements
  • Maintain a close intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
  • Affirm and support our organizations Community Covenant and Statement of Faith and be committed to YFCs mission.
  • Embrace YFCs core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
  • A postsecondary certificate and one year of prior experience would be an asset.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for creative arts
  • Strong communication organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
