The Space Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work build and operate bespoke technically complex missioncritical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. We bring innovation to our clients using proven and emerging technologies agile delivery processes and our deep expertise across the breadth of space defence intelligence aerospace and maritime all underpinned by our endtoend cyber capability. We work collaboratively with global technology companies cutting edge SMEs and academia to deliver the optimal solution for each client.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will:
Seamlessly integrate development outputs into release modules.
Spearhead their progression through relevant stages into operational service.
Navigate the releasetoservice process including security and accreditation procedures.
Provide technical insights and expertise on designs solutions tools techniques and standards.
Provide handson development of pragmatic solutions for realworld challenges.
Troubleshoot investigate and resolve incidents.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
A proven track record in the following domains:
Windows and/or Redhat Linux server administration.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Java PowerShel and Bash.
Expertise in configuration and automation tools such as Ansible Puppet and Foreman.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Command over virtualization technologies including VMware HyperV and OpenShift.
Sound grasp of network fundamentals encompassing DNS DHCP TCP/IP routing switching and HTTP.
Knowledge of Azure and AWS Cloud Technologies.
