About the Role:
Southern Illinois Healths Memorial Hospital in Carbondale IL invites applications for the position of Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join an established team of fellowshiptrained orthopedic surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to providing highquality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists emergency room professionals and a dedicated trauma team.
- Focus exclusively on patient care without the responsibilities of billing or coding.
Candidate Profile:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with a specific focus and experience in trauma.
- A robust skillset in orthopedic trauma capable of handling a diverse case mix.
Work Environment:
- Based at SIH Memorial Hospital a 154bed facility equipped with advanced surgical capabilities including daVinci technology.
