We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Inventory Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and fastpaced environment where problemsolving is key. The Inventory Accountant will play an integral role in shaping the future of our inventory accounting processes by working to streamline and automate historically manual processes contributing to a bestinclass close process and driving greater efficiency and accuracy.
What youll do
- Work closely with the Inventory and Revenue Accounting teams to record monthly journal entries associated with StockX inventory transactions
- Prepare and maintain monthly inventory account reconciliations variance and reserve analyses
- Ability to identify improvements to streamline processes resolve discrepancies and shorten the inventory close calendar driving positive change across the organization
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with key stakeholders across Finance Inventory Control Supply Chain and Operations to optimize inventory management
- Support external audit requirements by preparing requested documentation and maintaining accurate records ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies
About you
- 3 years experience in accounting
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field CPA a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Blackline Tableau PowerBI etc.
- Proactive responsible and takes ownership of work to ensure accurate and efficient completion
Nice to have skills
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Expertise in the meticulous analysis of highvolume multicurrency transactions within the complex landscape of a global business environment
Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts the base salary range is $80000 to $95000plus opportunities for benefits (e.g. medical dental) equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
