Job Description
A wellknown client of ours in Durban is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their team.
Qualifications
- Trade tested Artisan (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
Experience
- 5 years experience as a Millwright in an Automotive production environment
Job Requirements
- Ability to use a wide variety of tools from hammers and wrenches to blowtorches and measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of pneumatic clutch systems.
- Rigging of large machine components.
- Safety control circuits
- Ability to strip out seized bearings and bushes.
- Ability to strip out large components.
- Full imperial and metric tool kits.
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents to put machinery together.
- Ability to follow a problem to the source and solve the issue.
- Ability to use a wide variety of electrical tools wiring and creating electrical drawings.
It is crucial that you have stamping/press/welding experience and a background.
