Were looking for a Photo Motion & Postproduction Manager to coach lead and develop business and people together managing creative individuals producing global product and range communication for IKEA among other content assets leading to a positive impact on the business and strengthening the IKEA brand.
As a Photo Motion & Postproduction Manager you will share responsibilities with another manager in same position and together colead a diverse team of competences with a wide range of capabilities: Photographers Lighting technicians Retouch & Postproduction Artists Editors and Post Producers. You are reporting to the Production Manager and you are a member of the Production Leadership team within IMC Studios. Together you have a shared passion for maximizing business and people performance inspiring and empowering coworkers to produce and deliver inspirational and customer driven content that highlights IKEAs unique brand identity.
As a Photo Motion & Postproduction Manager you will
Secure a modern and flexible production environment in close collaboration with the Creative and Digital counterparts. Identify running business enhancements and development needs and priorities requests as the business owner for motion and still production.
Responsible for developing talents within the motion and still production business. Fostering an inclusive culture that value every team member and provides a safe supportive environment for growth. Encourage and support upskilling and competence development on specialists creative and technical expertise making them excel and grow in a constantly changing working environment.
Support the deliveries of high qualitative and consistent motion media and still image output by securing best practice of documentation and implementation of related production core processes and ways of working.
Stay uptodate with trends within the industry as well as new tools techniques and software.
Develop and maintain a strong external network.
Qualifications
5 years of experience of leading teams in a role as Manager Project lead or similar. Including tasks as recruiting analyzing training needs ensuring career development and growth conducting salary and performance reviews.
5 years of experience in motion media and photography production industry.
Broad knowledge in motion and still workflows and tools.
Ability to see the bigger picture and operate accordingly.
Understanding the needs and demands of a production driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for building networks across disciplines and functions.
Strong organizational planning and problemsolving skills.
Fluency in English spoken and written.
