Job Description
- Manage and monitor all incoming and outgoing data transfers across platforms.
- Perform SAN cleanup archiving and data lifecycle maintenance to optimize storage usage.
- Ensure security protocols are followed rigorously across all workflows and systems.
- Guarantee 100 accuracy in data deliveries by verifying file integrity metadata and specifications.
- Utilize tools such as Aspera Signiant and others for efficient and secure file transfers.
- Interpret and generate XML schema metadata templates and delivery manifests as needed.
- Handle a wide variety of audio and video file types and understand their technical specifications.
- Learn and retain an extensive range of workflows client specs and delivery procedures.
- Maintain highly accurate data entry tracking and record keeping.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in coordination with Project Managers under tight deadlines.
- Troubleshoot technical or workflowrelated issues and offer timely solutions.
In addition the Digital Media Operations Lead will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and coordinate with crossfunctional departments.
- Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency and scalability.
- Identify inefficiencies or workflow bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve throughput.
- Coordinate with engineering and IT to resolve infrastructure or systemrelated issues.
- Troubleshoot playback issues in QC and Color bays.
- Perform basis diagnostics on production equipment.
- Support Engineering and IT in resolving technical issues.
- Serve as frontline support for QC Operators and Restoration Artists.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Extensive experience with Colorfronts Transkoder Davinci Resolve.
- Interest and experience in basic IT support/maintenance.
- Working knowledge of media formats such as LTO hard drives ProRes H.264 IMF etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across departments and with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and a detailoriented mindset.
- Natural leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support team members.
- A selfstarter attitude and comfort working with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem resolution and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving workflows and technologies.
- Professional experience working in a post production facility.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Data I/O or media operations experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Salary Range: $30 $35 USD Per Hour
