Job Description

Loading Shipping and Receiving Associate 4

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $24.00 per hour

1st Shift: 6:45 am 3:15 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Audit loaded trailers from doors 134 (including crossdock transfers and intransits) dock lanes in accordance with CBB SOP using Safety Cultures Auditing template

  • Highlighted document and notify Team Lead of any loading failures so that they can be corrected before the trucks departure
  • Research and expedite shorts and old orders on dock
  • Expedite all hot orders through the shipping process quickly
  • Expedite all repairs and returns through the MFG and Shipping repair process
  • Assist in locating any units on manifest not loaded report to close out trucks
  • Document and take photos of all broken units received from Color Coat and create load audit
  • Document all Safety Culture audits that were started completed and uncompleted for following shifts Auditor
  • Assist Dock TL in closing of trucks both physically and systematically
  • Manage and organize basement dumpsters and coordinate with PIT operator and the end of shift to empty all garbage bins from doors 134
  • Communicate with yard jockey what trailers need to be pulled in and out of dock doors 125
  • Print out all parts screen shots from IBM needed to load on working load date
  • Order additional cardboard and material when low
  • Notify FG Team Lead of short code and respective door number for stock units (shorts) needed to close trucks
  • Help and assist in 5S cleanliness and organizing of the dock
  • Participate in daily Safety Walks

Qualifications :

  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Dependable punctual detail oriented and proficient communication skills
  • Ability to drive a stand up forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
