EV Design Coordinator

• Assist and manage design efforts for EV charging infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with industry standards local regulations and client specifications.
• Develop and optimize project layouts using AutoCAD and other tools integrating inputs from internal teams subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support full project lifecycle from bid to closeout by enhancing design efficiency maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring alignment between plans and field conditions through site visits.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to provide design insights implement modifications and resolve issues effectively.
• Coordinate and manage project across multiple sites including budgeting scheduling and tracking key milestones and vendor deliverables.
• Lead crossfunctional teams and stakeholders communicating updates ensuring timely deliverables and overseeing closeout activities including punch list resolution and final documentation.

• Proven experience in EV charging infrastructure design construction or related fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of utility management and electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to work both independently (home officebased) and collaboratively with field teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in construction environments with the ability to visit job sites as needed.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings specifications and other engineered plans
• Excellent organizational time management and communication skills

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or deskbased setup in a home office environment.
• Capability to travel to and move through construction and field job sites which may involve walking on uneven terrain climbing stairs or ladders and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g. equipment plans laptop PPE).
• Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions during site visits including exposure to weather dust and noise.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats safety glasses highvisibility vests etc. when on site.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites across California and potentially other states.
