Senior Adobe Experience Manager AEM Developer

Position Description:

As a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer you will help the technology team drive business growth and enhance customer experience by working directly with clients. Expected to provide bestfit architectural solutions across the entire Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. Will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management design engineering and data science to build a stateoftheart Digital Marketing Platform using Adobes Digital Marketing suite of products.

This position is located at a client site in Alexandria VA; however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and implementation of AEMbased solutions to support digital marketing strategies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AEM solutions with existing systems.
Identify when to use outofthebox functionality or core components verse custom components.
Ensure high performance reliability and scalability of AEM and Adobe Commerce solution.
Lead collaborate and integrate AEM and Adobe Commerce components seamlessly.
Creating and customizing AEM components dialogs widgets templates and workflows to meet project requirements.
Develop reusable AEM components build integrations with thirdparty systems.
Design caching and security strategies (Dispatcher firewall CDN)
Define strategies to support multisite and multilanguage.
Integrate thirdparty (SSO Address Validation) and Adobe products (Target CJA CDP) with AEM.
Drive the development of AEM authoring practices ensuring content is dynamic and user centric.
Ensure the technical feasibility and operational stability of AEM solutions.
Provide expert guidance on AEM system engineering and support engineering best practices.
Stay abreast of the latest AEP and AEM features and updates.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to elevate the teams expertise in AEP AEM and Commerce.
Work closely with the Marketing team to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Champion the adoption of AEM across organizations by demonstrating its impact on business outcomes.
Provide ongoing technical support to business as well as a team of AEM engineers functional SMEs and business analysis across the organization.
Ability to work in a hectic fastpaced organization and filled with highpressure situations daily.

Assess functional and technical requirements system configuration data integrity and all systemrelated policies and procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelors degree in business Information Technology or related field.
5 years of experience as a Full Stack AEM Developer building AEM Sites.
Experience in endtoend implementations of AEM AEM as a cloud service experience preferred.
Experience architecting and implementing Adobe solutions.
Defining component structures path management Vanity URLs Asset Dynamic Media and Tag management.
AEM handson programming in Web Technologies like JSP JavaScript XML XPATH AJAX jQuery Adobe APIs Apache Sling OSGi bundles Apache Web Server.
Adobe AEM Commerce Magento 2 Certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of business processes and requirements.
Demonstrated experience in front end development with emphasis on customer centric UI/UX.
Proven usage of SDLC methodologies (Agile/SCRUM).
Excellent problemsolving analytical and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
