Join our Finance Bureau

Heres your chance to support our Finance Bureau by performing professional independent research analysis and providing advice to management on operational systems data and/or processes designed to improve the conduct of business. The Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a System Administrator for four enterprise software systems. You will have the opportunity to provide functional software support to ensure applications operate in a manner that enables District staff to meet organizational goals and improve overall operational efficiency. This position will provide functional support for implementations. In addition this position is responsible for serving as a functional expert for applications in all stages of development testing and production. Youll have the chance to work with a wide range of teams in this promising position each of which plays a vital role in our efforts to preserve our most valuable natural resources.

Starting Compensation:

Financial Systems Analyst 3:$50460.80 $68673.94
Financial Systems Analyst 4: $57678.40 $79494.10
Financial Systems Analyst 5:$62316.80 $85879.29

The starting salary range for the Business Process Analyst positionreflects the minimum to 50 of the compensation. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.

Essential Functions

  • Act as functional support for financial software implementations
  • Act as Financial Systems software Project Manager
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure that goals are met
  • Review software release notes to determine if any new functionality should be implemented
  • Test all existing and new functionality to ensure necessary operations can continue
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system related issues for the financial applications
  • When issues are reported investigate the issue and provide a resolution
  • Create documentation and provide training to various District staff for financial applications
  • Serve as theSystem Administrator for core financial systems
  • Create and edit financial systems reports

Working Conditions

This position is in a standard office environment. This position performs continuous repetitive tasks (to include keyboarding) with one or both hands. Occasionally lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds. Occasionally requires bending and reaching above shoulder level. Employeemaybe subject to callin outside of regularly scheduled work hours or required to be on call including on nights weekends or holidays to respond to emergency management activities or other incidents requiring rapid response in support of District operations.

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university
  • Four 4 years related work experience (Equivalent combination of experience and education is accepted)
  • Valid drivers license

Financial Systems Analyst 4

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university
  • Six 6 years related work experience (Equivalent combination of experience and education is accepted)
  • Valid drivers license

Financial Systems Analyst 5

  • Masters degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university
  • Eight 8 years related work experience (Equivalent combination of experience and education is accepted)
  • Valid drivers license

The District will determine eligibility for employment solely from the information provided on a District employment application. Additional Details

This position is typically scheduled to work 40 hours per week 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday out of the Brooksville FL. A hybrid work schedule to include both remote and office work may be available to the successful candidate. This position is eligible for compensatory time for hours worked over 40 hours in a week.

Travel Required

Yes. Some travel using District vehicle within District coverage area.
