Risk Analytics Operations Lead (Remote)
Events in recent years have made us all too familiar with the havoc that natural disasters can wreak and the increasing frequency and intensity with which they are occurring. Despite record levels of losses conventional methods of risk modeling continue to paint at best an incomplete picture of these threats.
ZestyAI ingests novel data sources such as highresolution aerial imagery building permits real estate transaction data etc. and leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce unique insights about risks to properties and communities from natural catastrophes like wildfire and severe convective storms. ZestyAI provides customers in insurance real estate financial services and government sectors valuable intelligence that helps communities better prepare for and navigate catastrophes.

What Youll Do:
- Oversee proofofconcept (POC) data quality assurance processes ensuring completeness and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
- Process and validate datasets through ZestyAI workflows resolving any anomalies before handing off for analytics.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve data processing errors.
- Interface directly with clients to establish and facilitate secure data transfer validation and processing required for successful analytics.
- Maintain uptodate tracking of project progress and deliverables using ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows streamline processes and enhance data operations efficiency.
- Support the development of executivefacing content by preparing visualizations and summaries of Risk Analytics team accomplishments for Board of Directors presentations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate timelines manage expectations and deliver highquality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Utilize tools such as Excel Python BigQuery and PowerPoint to support data processing analysis automation and reporting.
What You Bring to the ZestyAI Team
- Bachelors degree
- 13 years of experience in data analytics/quality assurance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in BigQuery and Python
- Proven trackrecord of delivering high quality results in a timely manner
Nice to Have:
- You have experience in the insurance industry (P&C preferred)
- Youve used Business Intelligence or Data Viz tools such as PowerBI or Looker Studio
- You have used Geospatial software like ArcGIS
- You have automation experience to streamline processes
