An established catering butchers based in Poole Dorset are currently seeking an experienced Multi Drop Delivery Driver for their busy team.
You will be required to help deliver a range of fresh and frozen produce to various catering establishments.
Good local knowledge required as drops will be across the Dorset and Hampshire area.
Working Hours 6:30am to 2:30pm):
45 hours per week worked over 6 days Monday to Saturday or;
37.5 hours per week worked over 5 days. Monday to Saturday. (Thursday Fridays and Saturdays are essential working days)
Starting salary 12.50 per hour depending on experience. Pay reviews are possible depending on performance and attendance.
As a representative of the Company who visits our customers we require drivers who understand the importance of customer service.
Additionally the role involves:
- Accurately checking delivery/advice notes reporting any anomalies
- Loading & unloading vehicles as required lifting and carrying heavy weights (max. 20kg)
- Maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles both inside and out
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of multidrop delivering ideally in the food industry
- A good local knowledge of roads within a 50 mile radius of Poole
- Good customer service skills
- A good level of both written and spoken English
- The ability to build professional relationships with customers
- Be well presented
